DROP POINT OF GREASE
As per ASTM D566, IP132, IS:1448 (P-52)
- DROP POINT ASTM D566 – Dropping point determinations are used for identification and quality control purposes and can be an indication of the highest temperature of utility for some applications. The sample is heated at a prescribed rate in a precision machined cup whose sides slope toward an opening at its centre. The temperature at which a liquid drop first falls from the cup is the dropping point of the sample.
- Consists of electrical heater with temperature control and motorized stirrer.
- Complete with 400 ml beaker, holding cover, metal test cup, glass test tube, stopper, spacer ring, clamps for mounting the whole assembly on to the column of stand, heater board with 50 mm dia.
- Power supply : 230 V, 1 Phase, 50 Hz.
