OXIDATION STABILITY LIQUID BATH

As per CEC-L-48-00 Procedure B

The Oxidation Stability Test Apparatus is designed to assess the oxidation resistance of lubricants under controlled artificial ageing conditions. Fully compliant with industry standards, this equipment is suitable for evaluating automatic transmission fluids (ATF) and gear oils, ensuring accurate and reliable performance testing in laboratories and quality control facilities.

Available Configurations

1. Oxidation Stability Heated Oil Bath (Wet Bath)

  • Application: Testing four samples simultaneously

  • Temperature Range: 40°C – 180°C with ±0.5°C stability

  • Air Flow Rate: 10 ± 0.5 L/hr with 4 precision flow meters

  • Supplied Glassware:

    • 500 ml Erlenmeyer Flask (CEC-48-0(A))

    • Air Supply Device with Drying Tower

    • 500 ml Graduated Cylinder

    • 100 ml Graduated Test Tube

    • Silicone Rubber Hose

  • Power Supply: 220 V, 1 Phase, 50 Hz


2. Oxidation Stability Dry Bath (Individual Tube Heater)

  • Application: Testing eight samples independently

  • Individual Control: Separate heaters, sensors & safety cut-off per position

  • Temperature Range: 40°C – 180°C ±0.5°C stability

  • Air Flow Rate: 5 ± 0.5 L/hr with 8 precision flow meters

  • Flexible Operation: Same or different temperatures per position

  • Supplied Glassware:

    • DKA B Test Tubes & Condensers

    • Air Delivery Tubes & Cork Stoppers

    • Support Rack for 12 Tubes

    • Lab Grade Air Pump with Dry Tower

    • Circulatory Chiller

  • Power Supply: 220 V, 1 Phase, 50 Hz
