The WIL–488 Oxidation Stability Tester is designed for determining the oxidation stability of lubricating oils in accordance with IP 48 test method. The test measures the ability of oil to resist oxidation by exposing it to a controlled oxygen flow at elevated temperature in the presence of metal catalysts.
