COPPER CORROSION BATH

ASTM D-130, IP 154, FTM 791-5225, DIN EN ISO 2160 / IP 227

The Copper Corrosion Bath is a precision instrument designed for evaluating the corrosive properties of petroleum products in accordance with international standards including ASTM D-130, IP 154, FTM 791-5225, and DIN EN ISO 2160 / IP 227.

This test method is essential for determining the relative corrosivity of fuels and lubricants such as aviation fuels, automotive gasoline, kerosene, diesel, solvents, and lubricating oils. A polished copper strip is immersed in the sample and subjected to controlled heating, followed by inspection and corrosion rating.

  • Conforms to ASTM D-130 and related global standards for accurate and reliable corrosion testing

  • 6-position constant temperature bath for simultaneous testing of multiple samples

  • Digital temperature controller with PT-100 sensor for precision temperature control

  • Temperature range: Ambient to 100°C ±1°C

  • Stainless steel bomb compatibility for testing aviation fuels and natural gasoline

  • Lid with hook to securely hold low-pressure test bombs

  • Integrated stirring mechanism ensures uniform temperature distribution

  • Power Supply: 230V, 1 Phase, 50 Hz

The Copper Corrosion Bath is essential for laboratories involved in fuel quality analysis, refinery testing, and petroleum product certification, offering dependable performance and accurate test results.
