ROLL STABILITY OF LUBRICATING GREASE

As per ASTM D-1831

The Grease Roll Stability Tester is designed to evaluate the mechanical stability of lubricating greases under conditions that simulate real-world shear stresses typical of ball and roller bearings. The test measures the penetration characteristics of grease before and after rolling, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Single & Dual Speed Operation: Test at 10 RPM or 165 RPM for flexible performance evaluations.

  • High-Temperature Digital Control: Air-circulated bath with digital temperature control up to +165°C for precise testing conditions.

  • Durable Construction: Features 2 or 4 corrosion-resistant stainless steel roll test cylinders with stainless steel rollers.

  • Accurate Performance Simulation: Replicates the shear stresses experienced in ball and roller bearings during actual operation.

  • Power Supply: 440 V, 3 Phase.

Applications:

Essential for lubricant manufacturers, automotive testing labs, and industrial R&D centers to determine grease stability and performance under shear stress.
