- Oil immersion heater fitted to heat the bath media.
- Bath opening 254 x 200mm with cover having 4 openings of 50mm in diameter to hold 4 Asphalt Institute Vacuum Viscometers with four viscometer holders.

- Microprocessor based PID temperature controller with two displays for set & process value with feather touch key board and PT-100 sensor & digital read out, resolution of 0.01°C having temperature accuracy of 0.02°C.
- Efficient stirring system.

- Vacuum Set-up for Absolute Viscosity: Vacuum system capable of maintaining a vacuum to within ±0.05cm of desired level up to and including 30cm of mercury as per IS 1206(Part II) test method. Vacuum system comprises of vacuum gauge, receiver, valve and vacuum pump diaphragm type oil less. The whole system is mounted on a rectangular stand-alone plate with inlet and outlet.
